We’re Re-thinking what it means to provide medium density housing without losing our precious tree canopies that make our inner-city suburbs a pleasant place to live.
In 2017 Arcologic was proud to be selected as a Winner in the national Density and Diversity Done Well competition run by the Queensland Government and UDIA Queensland. Our entry provides a way that Medium Density Housing can be incorporated into existing suburbs with low impact results and provides a blueprint for future Zero Carbon Housing.
In 2019 Arcologic was the designer in a consortium with Infill Property Group invited to make a submission for the Department of Housing and Communities to be selected to a Panel of Experts on Medium Density Housing. Our proposal included the design of a 50 Unit medium density housing scheme on a Lot in Cannington near to the railway station.
In 2016 Arcologic submitted an entry into the Step Up competition run by Landcorp for a site in Coogee for a mixed use development on a 900 sqm site. The proposal included shared facilities, townhomes and apartments set over a semi- undercroft parking basement. Construction was to be largely prefabricated modules off site to speed timeframes and ensure quality.
