Past Projects

Marlston Drive Multi-Use, Bunbury

A private developer came to us seeking a concept design for a key site in Bunbury to house a mix of restaurants, residential and tourist accommodation. We picked up on clues from the nearby harbour and marina to develop a nautical themed building that breaks down in form and scale to avoid the typical ‘block’ appearance of so many similar schemes.

Busselton Marina Icon Development

A consortium of private developers asked us to imagine a medium scale ‘iconic’ development to sit on a prominent site in the Busselton Marina. With a mix of Tavern, hotel and apartments, the project was envisaged as 10 storeys with all apartments having access to the views of the Marina or the Indian Ocean.

Bunbury Resort Development

A major resort style development on the coast near Bunbury was envisaged as a ‘village’ of smaller buildings making reference to the waves of the Indian Ocean and using natural materials such as limestone and timber.

The Knutsford Project

We were asked to come up with plans and an architectural language for this North Perth location, home to a former pub and hotel. Breaking up the forms and creating an ‘internal street’ was intended to make the scale of the development sympathetic to the context of mixed commercial and suburbia.
